that in mind they set up a manufacturing facility exclusively for gluten free
breads because it is not possible to manufacture a gluten free bread in an
environment where other products, which may have gluten such as regular breads
and other bakery items, are also prepared. Just using raw material such as
rice, tapioca, potato quinoa etc does not ensure that the item will be Gluten
Free. It will be a 'low gluten' product. It will not be a gluten Free product.
For any food product to be gluten free, it has to be prepared in a plant which
is isolated from all Gluten containing raw material. That is what we, at
Harvest Gold, have created. A separate manufacturing plant where there is no
chance for any cross contamination with wheat, rye or barley ensuring that the Gluten
Free Breads and Rotis that we bring to you are safe and are in the true sense
of the word Gluten Free.
Gio Gluten Free:
- Raw material sourcing: for Gio gluten free, they procure, test and use only those raw materials
which are exclusively ground at separate facilities to ensure zero
cross-contamination with wheat containing raw material, e.g. wheat, rye,
barley.
- Production facility: their specially constructed gluten-free facility, where
they store, pack and manufacture Gio gluten free- leaves no margin
for cross-contamination with any gluten containing raw material.
- Gluten content: Gio
gluten free adheres to the international standard that specify a product
to be gluten free, when the gluten content in the product is less than 20
parts per million of the food. Other products available in the market are
not unable to meet these standard, and therefore are in reality 'Low
Gluten' rather than 'Gluten free'.
- No dairy: Gio
gluten free product are also dairy free.
- Certification: they
have all their Gio gluten free products independently tested and certified
by reputed FSSAI accredited labs.
